About Appalachian Medical Consulting
Meet the Founder
Morgan G. Jackson, BSN, RN, CCRN, CSC, CMC
Since becoming a Registered Nurse in 2018, I have dedicated my career to caring for critically ill patients across a variety of healthcare settings. My experience includes psychiatric nursing, intensive care, cardiovascular intensive care, and open-heart recovery, where I have cared for patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring, complex postoperative management, and mechanical circulatory support. Throughout my career, I have managed patients supported by technologies such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), temporary cardiac pacing systems, and other advanced cardiovascular support devices. These experiences have strengthened my clinical judgment and reinforced my passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
In addition to my bedside practice, I have been privileged to mentor and precept numerous new graduate nurses, nursing students, and experienced nurses transitioning into critical care. I am passionate about fostering confidence, developing clinical reasoning, and helping others navigate the complexities of critical care medicine. Whether teaching at the bedside, leading educational discussions, or developing formal training programs, I believe that empowering others through education ultimately leads to better patient outcomes.
These experiences inspired me to establish Appalachian Medical Consulting, where my mission is to Educate. Empower. Excel. By providing practical, evidence-based education and consulting services, I strive to simplify complex medical concepts and equip healthcare professionals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions when it matters most.
